Jason Migala was raised in a family with many members involved in law enforcement, and majored in criminal justice as an undergraduate at Mount Mercy College. After obtaining his law degree at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, he opened his practice in 2005.

For many years, Jason operated as a solo practitioner, focusing on criminal defense. He frequently handled cases involving:
